Visited the Uru people on Lake Titicaca! 馃殼

Had the chance to meet the incredible Uru communities who have lived on floating islands made entirely from totora reeds for over 500 years. These people build their homes, boats, and even the ground beneath their feet from reeds that grow in the lake. Their colourful reed boats and way of life were pretty fascinating to see.

What an experience visiting this remarkable indigenous culture at over 3,800 metres above sea level!
