It's 24 Hours of Cross Stitch weekend and honestly I'm not going into this one feeling confident at all! Too tired, too hot, too having-a-wedding-ring-crisis, too all-round bleugh.
So I'll be joining Team Rebel for this one, I think. Here are my plans:
- 4 days instead of 3
- Multiple projects instead of my usual single-minded focus
- One of those projects is crochet (shush)
An indecipherable off-white crochet project scrunched up on my lap. I'm holding up one side so you can see the stitch pattern of alternating double crochet and eyelet sections, and you can also see the edge which is currently made up of mostly chains but needs the proper edging put on.
In progress full-coverage cross stitch piece, it's an abstract dark night sky with a big yellow crescent moon, and some adorable sloth claws clinging to a branch down in the bottom right working corner.
