@podfeet I'd like to say I knew that, and I think I did, but thankfully I've never had to find out the hard way. I know the emergency call option on the iPhone is a slider, much like the original unlock gesture, but it's more obvious there. My guess is Apple wanted to make sure the emergency call, like unlocking the phone, was a conscious act on the part of the user, and that if they didn't consciously do it, the watch or phone would do it automatically after a minute.
@tvwonder Yeah, I’m sure it’s to reduce false positives. I was surprised it doesn’t automatically do it after a minute unless you don’t move.
@podfeet Right. I thought it did a countdown and made the call automatically if you didn't cancel it. I have fallen a few times, or bumped something hard enough that the watch thought I did, and the watch asked if I was ok. Thankfully I was able to respond so it didn't call.

That’s a tough way to figure that out. You’d think would make it better.
My issue with it is I when use a hammer etc., it asks and when I actually fall (1x so far), crickets 🦗
