@bortzmeyer What is the tld with A records in its zone and a running a web server? What authoritative server do they use?
@bortzmeyer I believe that there used to be MX records for ie and active e-mail addresses, a long time ago.

@chrysn Is it even possible to have Unicode names for instances? @académie@fr would be the proper name.
TODO: setup an instance with an Unicode name and see all the blocklists of the fediverse break.
