This is so heartbreaking.
How many of these 100 year weather events do we need to have in this 2020s before people accept that climate change is real, it's happening, and humanity needs to come together to address it?
Maybe it's time for a Nuremberg for the climate genocide? To prosecute fossil fuel companies who knew their product could lead to deadly levels of global warming, and tried to mislead the public about the risk.
A guilty verdict could result in a corporate death penalty. Where the company is disestablished, the reserves they hold are placed in trust and kept it in the ground as much as possible, and their assets used for climate change mitigation.
