Fun bit of trivia: it never occurred to me until today that the ISO numbers are just indices, assigned in the order they were created. Which implies the existence of ISO-1.

ISO-1 is a standard adopted in 1951, dating back to at least 1931: when measuring the dimensions of a product, the measurement is done at 20°C.
