We’ve successfully upgraded our Mastodon server to:

- v4.4.0 (stable) + mementomods-2025-07-08
- Mastodon Bird UI 2.3.0 (stable)

This update includes the latest build, so everything should be as current as possible. The branches are synced and up to date.

As always, if you notice anything strange or buggy, please let me or any of the other admins know.

@rolle I'm curious—do you use date-based versioning for your projects? I noticed the datestamp on mementomods.

I use SemVer (loosely, I might add), but I've been considering a date-based approach, since it feels more intuitive.

@csilverman I've always loved to track my versions with dates. I use a changelog format like this: version (semver): date (yyyy-mm-dd), see example:

But I do not tag versions with dates, they are just helping me to realize when exactly was the release made.

@rolle good work, as usual! I'll probably upgrade the BSD Cafe servers (and the default Mastodon Bird UI, of course) in the coming days.
