I don't want to sound grim, but I'm watching a gradually deteriorating situation in everyone I know who is #queer. And I'm talking #Spain, not the US. It's the "small" things: issues renewing their rent, treatment at the workplace, and the general feeling that allies aren't as allied as they might have been two years before. Of course I don't forget the attacks that queer people suffered last #Pride in Logroño, Barcelona, Valencia, Burgos, and other cities (which we learned about even two days after the facts).

Today on the metro I exchanged cautious looks with a guy who wore neonazi and Spanish falangist symbols. He performed "strength" with a paramilitary gesture and attire. Nothing happened, fortunately.

I'm worried.
