@farah My kid once said, out of the blue, "I don't want to get older!" When probed, he explained that he "didn't want to have to lie on the couch all the time". My wife and I were not ready for such a frank assessment of us as parents.

@farah We used to say "Goodnight! Don't let the bedbugs bite!" And we said prayers hoping to go to heaven if we die in our sleep. Things are a bit less threatening now I guess. Where's the fun in that! *now an Atheist
