It syncs with iOS via Symperium.

Everything else I‘ve tried over the years is just unbearably slooooww in comparison.

And since I must change my note-taking system I want to improve a few things.
Like syncing over any self-hosted infrastructure, but it absolutely must work with macOS and iOS.

I‘ve considered #Obsidian but it‘s slow as molasses and cannot be synched via my own infrastructure/server. Feels like a downgrade over what I have.

Same for Logseq. Terrible Mac app, no sync at all.

@MacLemon

I am testing #Silverbullet v2edge now and it's definitely an improvement over Nextcloud Notes et al.

Though it still feels pretty basic. The plugin system and lua scripting is cool though and will likely fix that.

Can't say how it would handle 10k Notes though. It downloads everything into browser LocalStorage first, so maybe ok once loaded? No idea how JS plugins will deal with that. Will Probably be ok?
