@jbz I have a Pihole set up to block all sorts of things and to see what's getting blocked where and when. Like your setup - I find it crazy that most of these blocked domains don't see to be critical to the function of my computer. Also nuts that an apple laptop that is closed in a drawer has so much telemetry going on.... why? How? It's closed and asleep?

@jbz This is one of the reasons why I’m seriously considering to switch to an OS platform like FreeBSD (or choose Linux if that suits you better). Apple is permanently connecting to a bunch of obscure servers in the net, which is something a trustworthy platform shouldn’t do without letting the user know. And it seems like it’s getting worse.
