Personally, l have a belief that if #Israel \ #America & #Iran, generally had populations that held the same, or no religious belief, they'd be trade, etc, allies, not competitors. A different God belief, generally, causes far more social ills, than a no God belief would (in general)

@ScienceCommunicator The thing is, ascribing conflict purely to religion or religious differences is a gross oversimplification of the problem area.

It’s a fanciful idea that if no one had religion, we wouldn’t be in a constant state of historic conflict. The truth of the matter is that conflict is invoked by a multitude of factors, many of which go far beyond the assumed whims of a higher power.

Religion often is used to excuse away and justify atrocities, but I guarantee that a lot of them are helped along by other factors, such as racism, expansionism, and geopolitics.
