Standing on a rocky outcrop on the south-eastern shore of Loch Sween in Argyll, Castle Sween is believed to be one of the earliest surviving stone castles in Scotland, probably dating back to the late 1100s. More pics and info: https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/crinan/castlesween/index.html
