Back from a glorious walk that my soul needed desperately. Spring is at its peak of loveliness and it's impossible to choose which 4 pics to share this evening, but I've opted for the small rather than the panoramic. It's no lie or exaggeration that when I walk I bring you with me and so look forward to sharing the things I see along the way
Love to you all 💕☺️🌿

A rook perched on a shaded branch of a tree, a member of the crow family with dense black feathers, a straight silvery grey bill and distinctive area of white skin on face around bill. Shown against bright steep escarpment, almost entirely unfocused

Close up shot of the early spring orchid, a purple vertical spear bearing many purple flowers, seen against sunlit long grasses

A swallow perched high on a telegraph wire, facing the golden late afternoon sun. Beautiful bird with a red throat and white chest, with blue-black cap, wings and tail. Clear blue skies above

Blue bells, a close up of one plant with 7 or 8 flowers hanging from a curved stem, catching the dappled sunlight piercing the woodland canopy
