Before I was fired tonight, I was in charge of information security for VA.gov, which has millions of users per month and stores and processes huge amounts of veterans' personal information. I've been told by people I've worked with that I'm the best at what I do of anyone they've ever worked with. Now there will be no one in charge of information security for VA.gov.
Does this seem like improving government efficiency?

The goal of the group is to inspire federal workers to feel brave enough to defy and disobey illegal orders from DOGE.

This week's illegal firings of high performing workers leaves no room for debate: federal workers are about to be penalized whether they speak out or not. So I ask federal workers is: when will the benefit of complying with DOGE become so insignificant that it becomes advantageous to speak out and disobey them? I believe that line has now been crossed.
