I understand the next hours and days will be the peak of the current wave to the Fediverse (unless it causes a tipping point already).

So I want to offer my help to everybody who is new here.

I can help you with:
* finding the right instance (if you're not sure you found it)
* understanding how it all works
* editing your profile and settings
* finding your bubble
* helping others find you
* finding answers to further questions

I can help you by:
* replying publicly
* replying via DM
* videocall & screensharing (one on one or in groups)
* finding others who can answer the questions that I can't

This offer goes to:
* everybody (except trolls)
* not just people on one of our (Fediverse Foundation) instances
* not just people in the climatejustice movement
* not just people using Mastodon (though I don't have experience with all software flavors)
* not even only new people

I speak English and German.

I'll use this post to keep some updated info about my offer above.

* I don't plan on letting the offer expire. When the wave is over I'm still here to help.
* I can also help you with on boarding new potential users. Ask me for my email account so they can contact me without an account on the Fediverse.
* If I missed your question and don't reply within 24 hours, please try again. I have some tricks that should help me keeping track, but sometimes a message might slip through.
* Also if my reply is not helpful enough, do ask further questions. Same for different questions. My offer is not limited to one question per person.

Btw, the reason why I'm updating this post and not the one above is because every edit notifies each user who interacted with a post (boost or like) and that would be a lot of people.
