Hello and welcome to our new space on the Fediverse! We're the Institute for Iranian Studies at the Austrian Academy of Sciences - one of the key centres internationally for understanding the cultures and history of the wider Iranian-influenced world from the Caucasus through to central Asia.
We have over 20 researchers covering linguistics, history, anthropology, archaeology, and an array of related disciplines from manuscript studies to philology to digital humanities.
