On behalf of the Japanese government , [anti] whaling activist Pual Watson has been arreseted by the Danish government on Greenland. As a captain of the famous Sea Shepherd he is responsible for disrupting whaling.
At the moment the Danish are thinking about extraditing Paul to Japan to stand trial for eco-terrorism ⁉️ 🤬. Allegations stemming from his opposition to Japan’s illegal whaling activities in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. He is facing up to 15 years in prison in Japan, a politically motivated life sentence for actions he took over 10 years ago.
He is being held in prison for over a 100 days by now.
