In 2025 I had 40 mapping days with 138 changesets to OpenStreetMap. That's the fewest contributions I've had since 2018, and 78 fewer days than in 2024.
Still, it's not nothing, you know.

So it’s been an interesting 2025 for me. My son graduated high school. Personal life was a disaster. Watched friends struggle and suffer. Felt disappointment and fear as America reelected an orange fascist dipshit intent on destroying the country. Then after decades of denial and depression I finally came to terms with my gender dysphoria and came out as trans. And while this journey to womanhood is going to take years I’m lucky to have an amazing group of friends here in the Fediverse that love and support me.
So goodbye 2025. Here’s hoping for a better 2026.

Over 100 bugs fixed and features implemented - and that’s only what made it onto the roadmap. Many more improvements happened along the way.
It’s been a very busy year, and I’m really happy with how #Vernissage looks and works today. There’s still a lot ahead, but the platform is slowly becoming mature - and I’m optimistic about what the next year will bring. ✨
