One of my companions from the trip to Macquarie Island captured a rare Yellow Capped Dordler while on the beach at Sandy Bay.
Fifteen years ago I got a chance to sail down to Macquarie Island, the last stop before you reach the Antarctic Confluence and the ice of East Antarctica.
Last week I got a chance to go back, and the Royal Penguins did not dissapoint. They are amazing little critters, full of personality and curiosity.
