Will be a proper review in a couple of weeks, but my main lens for this trip will be the cheap and cheerful TT Artisan 40mm F2. It's got autofocus, it's available for E-mount, Z-mount and L-mount... and it's super cute and tiny mounted on my teeny tiny Lumix S9.

I think this little rig will give me some joy in the coming weeks. This cost me well under $200 to purchase, and they shipped it express at no extra charge.

Fifteen years ago I got a chance to sail down to Macquarie Island, the last stop before you reach the Antarctic Confluence and the ice of East Antarctica.

Last week I got a chance to go back, and the Royal Penguins did not dissapoint. They are amazing little critters, full of personality and curiosity.
