Your periodic reminder that there were typewriter pen plotters. Yes, a typewriter that would draw text. Or a plotter with a keyboard attached, depending on your view.

Always loved a Bic pen. Turns out they make more colors than black and blue these days and they still get that amazing sheen when you pack the ink in.

When I started cross posting to Mastodon from birdsite, I kept using the popular tag #plottertwitter. But with the upheaval that’s going on, it doesn’t feel right to continue to use it. I’ll be transitioning to using #penplotter instead as it’s clear and platform independent. Hope you’ll join me. #mastoart

Back in 2022, I announced I'd switch to using the #PenPlotter hashtag on Fedi for my art. (I also follow that hashtag which is a great way to have an instantly curated stream.)

Calico
The fur color of cats is defined in the X chromosome. That’s why almost all tri colored cats have at least 2 X chromosomes (white does not need color information). But not all calico cats are female. Some are inter like me (in my case 47,XXY, unfortunately Im no cat)
The drawing was made by taking a cat photograph and reduce it to 3 colors (-white) and use Stippling and TSP with 2000 virtual dots. #pridemonth #pride #penplotter

October ' 25 print set. Took some arcs, took some curves, and pushed and pulled them into these flowing calligraphic shapes. I love the Uniball UM-153's and get enough tones out of my go-to red, blue, gold, and black that I doubt I'll ever get tired of them.
