@existentialcomics Maybe it was all a ploy to make the right wing discover that their heroes are child rapists themselves. They would never have believed it if the claim came from moderate journalists or the victims. First they have to become true believers in the conspiracy, then you reveal who the villains are after they have committed to the hunt.
