no wonder the Labour Govt. is not willing to offer free bus travel to the under-22s, and similarly its not a surprise that Zac Polanski & the GPEW have hit upon this as a key policy promise in attracting young people whose travel costs can be a major impediment to both working opportunities & families' finances.

Zack Polanski of the Greens tells us that water should be nationalised. I don't disagree, but he needs to break free from the compulsion to present English stories as UK stories, something the main English parties do all the time. Some information for Zack, the other main parties in England and the press, Scotland's water and sewerage services are already publicly owned.

Its pretty clear that the Labour 'centrists' are rattled by the rise of Zac Polanski.

Joe Dromey (Fabian Society) is now equating the populism of Polanski & Nigel Farage, arguing the Green Party of England & Wales is offering fantasy policies.

But many of those 'fantasies' have been standard Left policies for decades; this is more about Labour's move rightwards than the Greens 'fantasies' & will confirm to many why they might/should now vote Green.

well its actually pretty simple:

a trusted adult outside the family with time for them;

something fun to do that gets them off the phones with which they have a love-hate relationship;

a secure job;

better mental health support.

A Govt. that can make some inroads into these four areas or a party with a clear strategy to do so, would look like a sure bet for younger voters...
