What did you think of Dune Prophecy in the end @stpaultim?

I really enjoyed it. Making the Bene Gesserit the focus made it a very different story from the first Dune novel the two recent films were based on. Much like Andor season 2, it starts slowly. As you say;

> So many characters to introduce and so much world building to do

... but by the third episode I was hooked. I haven't enjoyed a speculative fiction series this much since mid-era Game of Thrones.

They tried to turn Dune: Prophecy into GoT, but it didn't work.

Now it's Foundation turn. We don't need hot characters plucked from Bridgerton.

Two episodes into Dune Prophecy and I'm still undecided. However, I really think you need to give a series like this some time.

Some similar series take 5-6 episodes to hit full stream. So many characters to introduce and so much world building to do.

Don't like that the set the series 10,000 years prior to the movies. This seems like an absurd abmount of time. Think about how things have changed on earth in 10,000 years.

But, this is a minor quibble.
