Previouly, a production of the musical “Hamilton,” a concert by Grammy and Pulitzer Prize-winning folk musician Rhiannon Giddens, and a show by comedian and television producer Issa Rae cancelled.

@aleciabatson basically that Mr Rogers was actually a pretty damn good pianist himself and told Costa what he wanted to do with the show. Costa took it because of that, because he wouldn’t have to travel outside of Pittsburgh, and because the amount he got paid was basically what it cost to put his son through college. It was basically his retirement gig.

These next few years, #creative #arts will contend with intense #slopification. Considering this current, liminal public state, I recall an ep. of Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood in which Mr. Rogers compares the #Internet to make-believe.
