This is the Bakemono Zukushi Monster Scroll, circa est. 18th–19th century. The artist is unknown. It depicts the “yōkai” from Japanese folklore. Specifically shapeshifters known as “ bakemono” or “obake.” They’re also popular in mangas/anime.

#Mastoaiuto #Manga Mia figlia piccola ha visto "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" dello Studio Ghibli e si è appassionata. Da tempo chiede di poter leggere manga, ma so che la storia è molto più lunga rispetto agli eventi del film. Qualcunə sa dirmi se nel manga ci sono contenuti che potrebbero essere inadatti a bambinə delle elementari? Penso a scene di violenza molto crude o sesso esplicito (nudità di per sé è ok). Altrimenti devo comprarlo, leggerlo, ed eventualmente cercare altro regalo😛

I'm a french 28 year old woman fan of everything's #anime, #manga and #videogame since as long as I can remember for the latter. Lately I read more #manwha especially #otomeisekai.
