It’s interesting to me that Trump has so quickly backed off on the threat of using force in Greenland. Someone talked him off the ledge. Maybe the massing European troops raised the stakes enough for his advisors to hesitate. Maybe the generals said they would not attack a NATO member nation (a clearly illegal order). Maybe he never had military support at all, and was talking out of his ass all along. Who knows? The point is, they called his bluff, and he folded like wet napkin. I think people need to learn from this. Calling Trump’s bluffs works, especially when you team up with other communities to call his bluff together.

Great episode of Tech Won’t Save Us with Gil Duran.
In this episode, Gil deals with why Peter Thiel—the one person on earth most resembling the description of the Antichrist—is so obsessed with describing the Antichrist as Not Him. tl;dr: tech hyper-billionaires know their gig is almost up, and they have to invent ever more hyperbolic scenarios and scapegoats to keep the masses, the defenders of democracy, from throwing all of the billionaire class in prison.
Anyway, fascinating episode. Gil does a good job articulating the situation, and his optimistic conclusion gives me a lot of hope. We live in truly bizarre times. And I do hope the end is coming soon, and the people will rise up to throw these Fascist “accelerationists” in a cell for good.
