To the #VoteBlue people in the USA: Yes, voting for the #Democrats _is_ necessary in all upcoming elections. But you also need to realize that the anger at the Democratic Party establishment is both real and entirely justified, and you should understand where that anger is coming from.
To quote the "Letter from a Birmingham Jail":
'First, I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro’s great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen’s Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: “I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action”; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man’s freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a “more convenient season.”'

The community resistance to #ICE in #Minnesota can, and should, be replicated all over the country.
Please. Even if ICE or other #trump loyalists aren't active in your community, there's a lot you can do to help others. Or you could donate, or volunteer services. Or show others what *they* might not know they can do.

And it underscores an important point for #USPolitics : " #VoteBlue ", in itself, is not a useful strategy for stopping fascism in the USA.
Because it won't do much if those elected Democrats are not afraid of the wrath of the voters each and every time they give in to Trump and the other oligarchs.
If they are not afraid of the voters, a lot of them will just do what they have kept on doing - as their voters for donations while selling out democracy and civil rights to their corporate donors.
True reform in the USA will not come without powerful organization outside of the party apparatuses.
#VoteBlue is what you do in November, when the choice might be down to some stale corporate Democrat versus some Republican fascist.

This is utterly wrong. 2021-2024 we didn't have this shit, and a bunch of corp Dems being in control is why. That made a fucking difference.

If Democrats in Congress want to fight Trump regime’s fascism, these steps are a start.
1. Vote no on DHS funding bill.
2. Repeal the multi-year $75 billion funding for ICE.
3. End qualified immunity for ICE agents.
4. Investigate and prosecute every single ICE agent who broke the law.

Hopefully some Republicans help us oppose ICE, DHS and the Trump regime. It's a good thing to hope for.
But I think all roads that involve defunding or abolishing ICE, dismantling DHS and ending the abuses of the #Trump regime lead to making the Republican party lose the midterms and then lose the White House.
And no one should comply in advance by proclaiming "there won't be midterms". Instead, proclaim what you'll do to help navigate these roads.
