As a new member, Nigeria will embed #DPGs into public services and strengthen its #DPI, championing openness, inclusion, and innovation.

The announcement came from Minister Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy.

At the DPGA Secretariat, we’ve strengthened privacy & data security in the #DPGStandard.

Led by our Standards Lead Amreen Taneja with @okfn, the update adds new privacy requirements & a best practices annex to help #DPGs anticipate, prevent & do no harm by design.
