Here's #urbansketching from this morning at mega-coffee corp. It isn't the crowds of the other place, but not bad for drawing people today, at least. The window light adds something.

Went to breakfast this morning, we haven't been out in ages and we were hoping it would be mostly empty, and it was!
Jupiter drew in their sketchbook, I doodled in mine - I've started folding over a few pieces of watercolor paper and sticking them in my Traveler's Notebook, and then it creates a signature to bind a book together later. I still love making books but (maybe weirdly) I like to make them as I need them.

Journaling is a habit that can be very helpful for our mental health, especially if we focus on noticing what's going well.
Combined with drawing, it can use more areas of your brain.
Personally, urban sketching is great as it also encourages me to go for a walk.
Journaling and brisk walking for 15 minutes are 2 habits proven to improve mental health, over 21+ days.
Got to sketch at a tango event today. Maybe next week again.
