What is the "truth" depends on who is in control of the information. Different admins, different "truths." That is why we need educators, people who empower other people form their OWN reasoned opinions, not just indoctrinate them with dogma. We should always remember that the powers that be silenced even Galileo and that claims of mis/dis-information (heresy) can also be used to silence dissent and good science.

I don't understand how
the people who want to protect their own sensitive information from corporations in order to stay safe and not become victims are deemed paranoid,
But the corporations demanding
to verify our identity asking for our legal name, gender, sex, date of birth, email, phone number, home address, location, IP address, MAC address, list of apps, purchase history, access to contacts, device model, official ID, passport, birth certificate, fingerprints, facial scan, palm scan, iris scan, preferred sleeping side, and underwear color are not? 🤨
@Em0nM4stodon You haven’t bought enough media, haven’t bought Trumpcoin, don’t own a platform that spreads misinformation and filters out truth, etc.

He reasons that in accordance with the laws of supply and demand, if there wasn't such a demand, peddlers of lies and confabulations would have given up by now. But they haven't. If anything there's more otf them these days. So many that it's getting hard to avoid the slop.
"A good chunk of the “demand for disinformation” comes from people who’ve been sucked under the wheels of modern climate-solutions capitalism, and crave aesthetically plausible justifications for the ball of anger in their chest."
