I didn’t really plan this project. I had made a track that captured a particular feeling, then got enamored with the sounds of various plucked strings as I tried to explore that feeling further. Next thing I knew, arpeggios, drones, textures, and even field recordings had all come along, and 6 more tracks had materialized.

It’s a more contemplative project than Facets, and one that became more personal for me as it continued. I will be very curious to see how others experience it and what it stirs in them.

Heavily featuring guitars, harps, and other plucked and struck strings, along with more traditionally synth-y sounds and beats, it’s music that is interested in how we reconcile feelings and experiences that seem inherently incompatible.
