@hipsterelectron The old thing is unmaintained, which is probably bad for something dealing with UGC, and I have no idea if the code is any good.
The new thing is maintained by someone I trust and respect.
I think this is a situation where migration is reasonable.

pushing changes should inform the site about changes. i don't understand or care about anything else. suddenly instead of pushing files remotely i have to deal with some fucking server configuration. no rationale given for this
