A note to Dems.
Not to get too Weimar-y, but we are in the mess we’re in because capitalism puts profits over people and because the slow churn of democracy has struggled to keep pace w/ the challenges and crises and transformations of the last 50 years.
If we manage to dislodge the neo-fascists in the next two years, democracy will be on a very short leash.
It’s time to smash the fash, and then it’s time for a bold new course, billionaires and Christian nationalists and NIMBYs be damned.

Everything is going to depend on how the new Dems deal with accountability. If they take the 'we need to move on' approach all is lost. If the take the 'truth and prosecution' approach, we have a fighting chance.
This is why the victory margin is critical. We need a sufficient majority to overcome the centrist Dems selling us out.
