@Downes We agree. I think it's good to see people finally take issue with it outside the progressive left though. It has always been a flag-bearer for the status quo and for incumbent power.
@ben Progressives and the left have vocally opposed the NY Times slant on everything for many years now (it's like nobody remembers its uncritical restating of 'yellowcake' and support for the Iraq war, among many other issues).
But today's media pundits act as though this is a new thing, something that only emerged under Trump. Not so. It was always subservient and kowtowed. Pundits just haven't recognize this until now (and of course there are no left & progressive pundits being published).
