@ai6yr It looks like the two bedrooms (and baths, etc) are in the back, behind a conventional opaque wall.
I'm surprised at the asking price - $1MM is pretty low for an architecturally significant home in Berkeley.

Welcome to the incomprehensible racket of real estate. If they don't get you with the price, the county assessor will eventually get you with the 500% fraudulent tax hike. Oh, they will pretend you paid the price and make you pay it all the same.
@8 Huh? You're suggesting the owner is in cahoots with the local government to bilk the buyer out of property taxes? That makes no sense.
My questions:
1. Do your neighbors have a view into your house all the time?!?!
2. Does that window face East, West, South, and how freaking hot does it get?
3. Where is the bath/shower, and... are there curtains?!?!
4. Now, if you were a nudist and walking around naked in your own home, is that a crime if your neighbors have to watch you all day?
