@jef I once changed someone's life, my ex- & best friend, by telling her that the point of the turn signal wasn't to indicate the precise location of the turn, but to indicate to people behind you that something was about to happen leftward, or rightward.
She was like, "Ohhhhhhhhh. That makes sense."
