Have you ever met someone from the Fediverse in person to do something together?
I don't mean at a Fediverse-related event. If you have, I'd be curious to hear what kind of activity brought you together.
I've seen people from other social media platforms organize offline activities and meetups, Facebook and Instagram (Meta), Orkut (Google), and Twitter (now X), and I'm curious whether this happens through the Fediverse too.

I met a woman who organises Demonstrations by people affected by poverty against cuts to social services.

That's me! I have met with other users several times, mostly for political work, but also just for fun.

@everton137 It was a book reading of @marcuwekling and there were many Fedizens because he had anounced it Fediverse-first.
@everton137 I commissioned some 3D printing from @britt and when it was ready I met her and her lovely wife to pick it up.
@everton137 I briefly met up with @ColinTheMathmo at #emfcamp after only communicating via mastodon before and arranging where to meet via mastodon.
I've also met others there after talking about it on mastodon but those were people I knew before I was on here or in some cases before the fediverse existed.
@everton137 A person I had interacted with for a while on the Fediverse announced that they would soon be visiting my city for a work event, so we decided to just meet up and have coffee.
