Going to try to spend a week using Collabora Office (instead of LibreOffice); we'll see how it goes

* The sidebar is gone now and I don't know what I did to cause that. (yay)
* Closing the window doesn't prompt you to save unsaved changes(!!) and when you re-open it, there's no recovery option
Positive:
* I like the mini formatting menu that pops up when you select text, it's pretty convenient
* I like the "smart zoom" feature (but I can't figure out where to enable it by default)
* The compact view is nice too, it's probably what I want and thankfully it's sticky
* I got used to Fedora 44's disabling of middle-click paste but Collabora still has it, which is getting frustrating because I mis-click pretty frequently
* Why is there a little navigation icon in the left margin partially overlapping the document? I promise I can open the "Navigation" pane really easily with ctrl+f and don't need a constant, floating reminder
@legoktm I tried it on a chromebook for real work, and it was basically LibreOffice! But the crippling misfeature was it was *laggy*. Response was slow and would occasionally pause completely. Did you find that?
@legoktm the chromebook was tiny (low-end AMD processor, 4GB RAM) but I wrote Libra Shrugged in LibreOffice on a netbook of similar spec and it's fast as hell.
* Documents open in view-only mode; presumably there's a setting to default to edit-only?
* There's a sidebar on the right side that takes up too much room when I shrink the window and I can't find an obvious close button
* when I start a new document, ctrl+s just saves it as "~/Documents/Untitled.odt" and doesn't prompt me for a filename / location
