@evan Associate Membership is about alliance, consolidation. We all know why. I think it will possibly have added benefits for digital sovereignty against big tech domination. The EU is very big on open source etc. I'm all for it (I'm Brit, live in Malta, soon to be German citzn).

@evan after carefully considering the linked article, I'm firmly for it, in part because it would set up the presidence necessary for the funniest possible (albeit very improbable) future outcome: the united states of america joining the EU
