I got myself a gamebub because I was curious about it.
So far, it's a great FPGA gameboy/gameboy advance. It's a little more expensive than the analog pocket, but it's entirely open hardware which is neat.
It'll play games off of an SD card, and can back up roms and save files, which is also nice.

We gotta find some more money though.
I like the widescreen format. I like that it's an indie hardware project with open source hardware and firmware.
I feel like I should have more to say, maybe I will later.
It plays ROMs from an SD card well.
I played some GB and GBC games, and then ran through one GBA game.
The dock worked with my external monitor, but I haven't tried it with a TV or a controller yet, I'll do that next.
