their's plenty of stuff in this post. Some of this stuff that my deafblind followers should be aware of, as well. from apple vis: iOS 27 and iPadOS 27: A Summary of VoiceOver and Braille Issues and Improvements. https://www.applevis.com/blog/ios-27-ipados-27-summary-voiceover-braille-issues-improvements
@caneprints @munchkinbear @alexchapman touch wood, I've actually been OK. That one about the sound profile sounding like VoiceOver flipping on a call has definitely not happened to me.
@TomGrant91 I have noticed there's less lows compared to IOS 26, oh and some TTS engines not playing nicely with the new system with pauses, *cough cough, Eloquence, Doubletalk*, but apart from that I've not had it too bad. @caneprints @munchkinbear
@alexchapman @caneprints @munchkinbear they are the "legasy" siri voices and I'm glad they're back. I do miss them.
@alexchapman @caneprints @munchkinbear Never heard of a speech synth called cough cough! I wonder what that would sound like. But to be honest, I can cope with that. Interesting they added the older martha and arthur and other siri voices too
@munchkinbear @alexchapman While the current iOS bug list for blind folks seems fairly daunting and I’m leaning towards waiting for the next update, Curiosity might just get the better of me. The cautious me versus the curious me, wonder who will ultimately win this match?
