Ok nerdfriends, I have a #netbsd question:
I've been interested in the os since it took a strong anti-ai position.
I got it installed after some faffing about, and noticed that tmux is installed in base.
Now tmux is wonderful, but there has also been some controversy about it having some ai-generated commits.
How are both of these things true? Is it an older version? Have the offending commits been patched out? A secret third thing?
Looking to learn here, not pick a fight.

@jornane @RussSharek Exactly, but we move pretty slowly with every task like that. Unbound is also in base and BIND isn't enabled by default.

@RussSharek There's more software in the NetBSD base that has recently been sloppified.
The ISC bind DNS server is another example of that. If you run the NetBSD through slopscan, you'll find this commit. github.com/NetBSD/src/commit/f3b327fa6f8b4ff6f758a8b9e8190aa20109e222
The OS itself appears still to be slop-free. But a BSD is a "Software Distribution", and software that's imported from elsewhere may thus have become slop.
