@davidgerard This is what happens when people watch too many old movies or TV episodes about disembodied brains gaining super intelligence and other powers.

@davidgerard I'd be interested in that field simply for all the side science it would produce, like more details around how neurons work and connect, and how to influence that. Even if the "biocomputer" itself is a grift, the underlying technology and the stuff supporting it would potentially have real-world uses in medicine and neurology, rather than the current scam producing a whole bunch of expensive silicon with single-purpose matrix multipliers that can't be used for anything but one type of statistical "neural network"...
