@idzie If it makes you feel any better, my spouse learned to drive pretty late (mid-twenties), and they're driving great now. They also have like ridiculous levels of ADHD that was completely unmedicated until recently, so like, neurodivergence needn't be a complete obstacle either.
I have many regrets in life, one of which is refusing to learn to drive almost 20 years ago (and in all the intervening years since). But since I can't rewrite the past I just have to overcome that fear now...
