@Natanox @pndc @kaito02 @davidgerard Beyond All Reason explicitly allows AI code, so probably not a best example of nonslop.
@flesh @pndc @kaito02 @davidgerard I mean, I've seen worse… and I've seen better. At least they specifically ban any kind of media slop and limit the use of LLMs to "assistance". Also people having to tell which one they used might enable social pressure, away from the most evil ones (like Grok / xAI).
If the LLMs weren't made through the absolute most inhumane practices possible it would even be reasonable… and I still wonder why FOSS projects don't limit LLM stuff to "true FOSS-only".
@Natanox @pndc @kaito02 @davidgerard Personally, I find the fact it's explicitly permitted alone to be a "avoid like the plague" project.
The fact they ban slop images is more weird than it is helpful.
@flesh @pndc @kaito02 @davidgerard Well, at least they don't permit "vibe-coding". So that's something.
Why is it weird they ban slop images and sounds? I think that's just the most fundamental baseline.
