@lightspeed Agreed. This is why I decided to be more vocal on social media about it. The most common response from the left has not been encouragement, but strong suggests to “stop engaging in culture war and focus on specific policies”. I think there is value in poking the Svensk hypersensitivity to awkward social situations by making center-right parties’ association with SD extremely awkward.

@Jeremiah Agreed and if those policies are classic right wing topics like asylum migration, those left wing partes are very wrong. There is convincing scientific evidence that such political accommodation does not work. Merz learned that lesson in Germany, because AfD grew despite policies like border control.

Accommodation only normalizes the far right narrative. So if a left party is talking about e.g. migration, they're already playing on the far right chess board.
@Jeremiah This is happening all over the world. It's not a change in thinking that voters came up with by themselves, but what they are being spoon-fed on social media.
