@relistan educating people? The course is quite good and you can extend to a 8 hour course for free (not mandatory to get the account).
So what they teach in using AI responsibly is quite good - my wife did it - she understands the limitations and so forth and generally been having a much better time of using it and more realistic about outcomes.
@ripienaar I wasn’t arguing against it I was trying to understand how they sold the expense. Sounds like it’s well done.
@relistan they also recently bought some insane nvidia CUDE machine that startups can apply to use for free etc - pushing AI education and AI in business quite a bit
@relistan unlikely that they are paying its pretty good marketing for those companies an we are small enough in population that its possible.
500k people only here, we get a ton of free shit from the gov (like our petrol price is fixed in 2014)
@ripienaar so the point is the class, and the subscription is the reward for doing the thing they want. That makes sense.
@relistan Yeah, and its a pretty solid reward also - 20/month for 2 years is a fair bit
