Hm, new screen did *not* work well for my ancient Elegoo Mars; the new screen was thicker, so stood slightly proud of the base, which then impinged on the vat, which then got caught on it, *pulled the screen right off AND sheared the cable*.
So, given that I don't trust the new screens, and I'm just about scraping by on open source money at the moment, I guess that's no more SLA printing for me. At least until I know I can keep the family fed and the taxman happy in January.
