Which color was your first computer? π» π¨

Which old computer is not beige? Aren't they all?
Because of the stickers, I can't remember the original colour.
@Em0nM4stodon So much beige..
(This was a household PC, rather than mine exactly - a Gateway 2000 with Windows 95. The glamour!)
I remember this monitor but I'm certain it was a tower. 1995 or 6 HP Pavillion with Windows 95. I still remember the day my Dad got it all set up and turned it on and being so excited. I had pretty much no reason to use a computer at that age but seeing some of the games and watching him connect to AOL was enough to make it a core memory.

First one I bought was charcoal, or some other dark shade of gray. 25MHz 486 laptop.
Had had a fair few work provided beige boxes (work being IBM, mostly) before then.

I had a silly dial up emachines which was aol. The best thing about it was the AImchat which was very polite back then and no one hacked anyone.
@Em0nM4stodon beige Packard Bell here
@Em0nM4stodon Grey as far as I remember
@Em0nM4stodon Commodore VIC-20 beige.
@Em0nM4stodon Beige for the Vic-20 which was the first computer in the house (not mine alone). Dad upgraded to the Commodore 64 not too long after.
The first mine-alone computer *could* be the Radio Shack Microcomputer Trainer kit, but if counting more general-purpose and complete systems it was the Color Computer 3 (in that case: white).
@Em0nM4stodon dark gray Powerbook 145. i loved it dearly and more than any other laptop i encountered since.

I don't recall for sure if it was beige or black. The screen was green and black, without a doubt. Oh wait, maybe It was amber and black? Naw. Green for the first one. Amber must've have been the second screen
